There are some fun drinking games you can play at your next house party to add some variety to the occasion. Whilst there are a number of board games you can buy, there are simple card, dice and casino party games that will break the ice between everyone and a chance to get to know each other better. Allocate one of the party to be the dealer for Blackjack. If a player's cards total 21, they make another player take a drink. Each time a player hits, they can choose another player to drink, which can get a bit crazy with hits on 18, 19 or even 20. If a player is dealt a Blackjack (the Ace of Spades and either the Jack of Clubs or Spades), everyone at the table must drink. When a player's hand goes bust, they have to have to take two drinks.

Taboo
Another fun game, this one starts the party, with everyone given a card which has a different common word, action or phrase. These are words or actions that you are likely to hear and see at a party more than once, but not too often. Words could be "wine", "work". Phrases "I hope", "I don't know" and actions could be crossing their arms or touching their hair. As soon as any are witnessed, the person with the card shouts "Taboo" and the offender has to take a drink.
Create a Roulette wheel out of cardboard and place shot glasses of a favourite tipple at different pockets on the wheel. Players then place a bet on whether the pointer will land on a shot glass. If they win the bet, they take the shot.
Dart Poker
Place a deck of cards onto a board. Players need to hit cards on the board to create a poker hand. Before they begin, a player has to bet whether they will hit a winning hand. If they miss, the bet is lost, but if they hit three of a kind, a royal flush or other poker hands, they keep their bet and get a drink too.
Get to know your friends' secrets with a game of "Never have I ever..." In this game, a number of scenarios are read out by each player in turn. These could include statements such as "Never have I ever been arrested" or "Never have I ever shaved my body hair into a random shape for a laugh!" All those who cannot agree with the statement have to take a drink, so in the first example, all those in the group who have been arrested will be drinking. This game will have you sharing hilarious and surprising stories.
