It is now day time; the host asks everyone to open their eyes and declares that "x" is dead (if the guarding angel failed to save x). Now, the discussions begin as the civilians try to come to a consensus on who are the mafia. The mafia and the guardian angel get to take part in the discussions as if they are just ordinary civilians. They entire group then has to decide with whatever knowledge they have so far, one person to kill, hoping he or she is mafia. The rounds of nights and days go on this way until either the mafia win or the civilians win. The mafia win if they have killed off enough civilians to become a mafia majority, and the civilians win if they manage to kill the mafia before they mafia kills most of them.
