Equipment

• 1 Huge TV to watch the soccer games on
• 1 Shot glass per player
• Lots of liquor, and food

Setup

Turn your TV on and put the soccer game on. You can check Google for the World Cup schedule and find the broadcasting rights on Wikipedia if you don't know what channel it's on. Grab your liquor, and pick which team will win before each game begins - if more than 1 person picks a team, also write down what the score of the game will be.

We also recommend hitting your local liquor store and buying a Brazilian liquor such as Cachaça to set the mood since you're probably reading this from a country that isn't Brazil.

Rules

The team that you choose to win each game will decide your fate, so choose wisely! We recommend always keeping a short poured in front of you at all times as well in case you need to drink more than 1 shot in a short period of time (timers are recommended to ensure people don't pussy out). Here are the events that result in drinking:

Take a Liquor Shot when:

• 1 Shot: If your hear your team's national anthem being played
• 1 Shot: If someone on your team flops like a girl
• 1 Shot: If someone from your team receives a yellow card.
• 1 Shot: If your team concedes a penalty kick
• 2 Shots: If your team gives up a goal (you must drink both shots before the following kickoff takes place
• 2 Shots: If someone on your team received a red card

We recommend spicing things up throughout the game by introducing beer into the mix as well if the game ends up being one of those slow, boring ones. If that turns out to be the case, grab some beer and introduce your choice from these rules to go along with the shots:

Drink Beer when:

• Drink your beer through a straw while anyone is holding the ball in their hands (players, referees, goalies)
• Give out 5 drinks if the camera shows hot chicks supporting your team dancing in the stands
• Drink for stoppages of play
• Drink if your team substitutes a player
• Social drink if the camera shows a famous person in the crowd

Finally, introduce some rules that aren't associated with giving or taking drinks, but just generally enhancing fun: in the first half of the World Cup Soccer game, hold your drink with your left hand only, and in the second half us only your right hand only. If you see someone using the wrong hand, call them out and make them take 5 drinks of beer through their straw.
