Summary

The Rule Time drinking game is very laid back and requires little to know mental effort from those participating in it. Everyone takes a turn as dealer, and as cards are dealt, drinks are given out through rules that accrue over time.

Setup

All players sit around a table and grab your alcohol. Decide who will begin as the dealer, and then begin dealing cards out face up.

Rules

The Rule Time drinking game rules are quite simple: each turn, the dealer hands out all of the cards from the deck until there are no more. After the deck runs out, based on what cards each person was dealt, drinks are given out. The predetermined rules that exist from start to finish are:

• Whoever was dealt the lowest card takes (4) drinks
• For any doubles, drink that amount.
• For triples, drink 3x that amount (or shotgun / bong a beer if that's easier)
• For anyone unfortunate enough to receive quadruples, get a double shot of liquor out!

After everyone's done taking their drinks per the cards their received, the cards are collected by the dealer from that round and passed to the person on their left to be dealer next round, and the person who dealt the closing round makes a new rule. To begin the new dealers turn, they must first ask "what time is it?" to which everyone responds "rule time!", and then the new cards are dealt for the new round.
