Summary

Nights at the round table is a luck based drinking game where cups of alcohol are dispersed around a table and the draw of a card determines who drinks what

• Deck of playing cards (with jokers)

Setup

Place the deck of cards face-down in the center of a table. Fill multiple shot glasses with liquor and cups with beer (of various types if possible), and disperse evenly around the table. A good rule of thumb is to have at least 2 cups/glasses per player.

Rules

Once your table is set with alcohol of different degrees (anything from beer to hard liquor, or even Everclear), set it around the table's edges. Once all the players are set around the table with a deck of cards set in the middle that is shuffled & includes the Jokers, you can start playing the nights at the round table drinking game.

Going around the table counter clockwise, one player draws a card.

• If it is a number, you walk around the table to your right to the next drink available
• If it is a face card, you do the following:
  • JACK: Everyone takes a drink from the drink in front of them
  • QUEEN: Switch with another player's spot and everyone takes a drink from the drink in front of them
  • KING: Switch two drinks on the table and everyone takes a drink from the drink in front of them
  • ACE: Take all the drinks and choose who gets to drink what. You can have people take no drinks or multiple drinks
  • JOKER: Everyone gives the person that drew the card their drink. The drawer has to drink ALL drinks given
• The round/game is over when the deck is empty

On the last card drawn, if it is a number, move the amount of spaces and drink. If it is a face card, follow the instructions. Specifically, if it is a Joker, EVERYONE drinks one of each different liquor/beer used for the game.

Based on the rules you can tell that this drinking game is best enjoyed when you have a wide array of varying types of alcohol at your disposal. It's a clever, fun, luck-based way of drinking a bunch of beer and liquor, perfect for a pregame before a night out, as the round table promotes an open social forum.
