Fire up your draft software or tape your draft board up on the wall and get the player stickers out. Tap the keg, cheers with your league mates, and put the first team on the clock.
Rules
One key note about Live Fantasy Football Draft drinking games is that every league is unique, so while we've done our best to provide some generic rules, you should definitely implement rules that fit your league and the personality of the people in it! Here we go:
- Team Rule: Write the name of each NFL team down on a piece of paper, and have everyone pick 1 or 2 - now, whenever a player from one of these teams is drafted, you drink.
- Defense/Special Teams: The first person to draft a D/ST takes a shot.
- Kicker: The first person to draft a kicker takes a shot.
- On the Clock: Anyone that goes over his allotted time to make a draft pick can either take a shot to extend their pick by 20 seconds, or accept the autodraft.
- Suspension: If a suspended player is drafted (I'm looking at you, Pittsburgh Steelers) drink
- Rookie Hype Train: If you draft a rookie inside the first 5 rounds, drink!
- Money Manziel: When someone says "Manziel", drink in his honor - hell, he's probably drunk right now!
- Injury Prone: If a player currently on the PUP is drafted, drink.
- Gronk You: If someone drafts Rob Gronkowski, they can choose to do a Gronk touchdown dance or take a shot.
My final suggestion is to grade the draft at the end and force whoever drafted the most Browns & Titans players to take a beer bong or do a shot, because they're almost certainly in for a rough season!
