Summary

The Mario Party Drinking Game takes one of the best multiplayer games on Nintendo 64 and spices it up by adding alcohol drinking rules to the fun.

Setup

Start up a normal game of Mario Party. A 20 turn game is a perfect game length. Have your beer and drink for doing shots on standby.

Rules

Before we get to the Mario Party drinking games rules, I should note that you can feel free to modify and create rules as you see fit (and share your best ones in the comments!). Also if things are moving slow you can swap beer out for liquor in certain scenarios.

Board Rules

At the beginning of the game, after reading the game manual, drink the number of times corresponding with order of play (1st= 1 drink, 2nd= 2 drinks...)

Rolling the Dice:

• 1: Take a shot
• 2-9: Drink half of your roll
• 10: Everyone but you drinks

• Red Space: Drink 2
• ? (Green) Space: you drink 2 + take 1 additional drink for any other player involved in the event
• Bank Space: If you land on the bank space and get money, everyone else drinks.
• Bowser Space: You take a shot + anyone else involved also takes a shot.
  (Optional): If Bowser runs away, take another shot!
• Boo: When Boo is stealing coins from you, waterfall your beer.
  If Boo steals a star from you, take a shot.
  If a Boo repellant is used against Boo, the player who summoned him takes a shot
• Stars: If you get a Star at any point in the game, everyone else drinks!

Mini Games

• Normal game: You lose = you drink. In the event of a tie, everyone drinks.
• 2v2: Losers drink 2x
• 1v3: If the 3 lose, they drink 3x each. If 1 loses, they do a shot
• Battle game: Drink corresponding with place: 1st = 0 drinks, 2nd = 1 drink, 3rd = 2 drinks, 4th = 3 drinks
• Pity Coin: If there is a pity coin, any player that did not win any money takes a drink
• Duel game: Loser does a shot. If the game ends in a draw, both players finish their drink

Additional Rules

Chance Time: If you end with a net loss of coins, take a drink. If you lose a star, take a shot. In the event of a tie, both people finish their drinks.

Last 5 Turns: If you're awarded the last 5 turns bonus, you may add, change, or subtract a rule, but all other players must agree on the rule change.

End Game Rules: Everyone does a victory shot, and losers finish their beers in addition to the shot!
