Equipment

  • Dice (or dice app)
  • Paper & Pen
  • Beer

Setup

The word "DRINK" is written in the centre of the paper (landscape) and the names of the players spread around the edge of the paper in the order they're sitting in, with five small circles drawn between each name and the word "DRINK".

Rules

Starting from left of the 'dealer' (person with the dice app on phone), everyone has a roll of one dice. They can drink for double the number of seconds of the roll (so roll 5, drink 10 seconds) OR pass to someone else, who just drinks the un-doubled number. If the player has drank themselves and not passed, the first of their five circles is colored in. The game continues around like this.

When each person gets all 5 circles colored in, they move onto the word "DRINK". Each letter increases their own multiplier (D x3, R x4, I x5, N x6 and K x7), however at this point if they pass, it doesn't get given to anyone else. Each time a letter is completed, that letter is written next to the name of the player who did it. The winner is the first player to successfully finish the x7 multiplier, and therefore spell "DRINK" next to their own name.

Drinking on this game is counted by the other players and must be continuous, otherwise the attempt is void and counts as a missed go. Players must have spare drinks ready/poured in case they run out halfway through a turn; there is a two-to-three second allowance for switching cup/can/etc., although this cannot be abused.

For added excitement, a timer can be added (usually 3 minutes) and whoever's turn it is when the timer goes off can make a rule; this could be anything from left-handed drinking, to altering something about the DRINK game (e.g. a roll of 1 now counts as a 3).

As always, please remember to drink responsibly! This alcohol drinking game is not meant to lead to you becoming sick due to over-consumption of alcohol. Need a sober ride?
