Colour Blind is an intense card drinking game where teams compete in a game of chance and potentially drink heavily if lucky isn't on their side

• Deck of Cards
• Large pitcher or cup
• Alcohol

Setup

This card game doesn't have a setup, but make sure you have an even number of players before starting. Make sure it's a full deck of cards (with jokers) and stack it in the middle of the table, face down. Divide into two groups of even numbers and sit oppsite each other on the table. Finally, place the large cup or pitcher in the middle of the table.

Rules

The drinking game begins when each team picks a player to go first. As the name "Colour Blind" implies, much of this will have to do with guessing aspects of the card that gets pulled on your turn. Here is a standard turn:

1. Player 1 (Team A) draws card (face down to prevent tells)
2. Player 1 (Team B) guesses card's colour
3. Card revealed & then placed in the team that guessed' pile (Team B), face down (to prevent card counting)
4. Correct Guess: Team A all drinks, Team B adds to the middle cup
5. Incorrect Guess: Team B drinks

Continue alternating between players & teams until both Jokers have been found in the deck. If the same team received both Jokers, that team drinks the entire middle cup, otherwise both teams split it.

Bonus Rules

2 Guesses: Someone can opt to not only guess the card's colour, but also the suit. If they guess both the colour and suit right, the other team drinks 3x. If they get the colour right but the suit wrong, they drink 1x. If they get the color wrong but the suit right, they drink 2x.

3 Guesses: If you're really feeling lucky, you can opt to guess 3... but it's not for the faint of heart. If you guess the colour, suit, and card value (i.e. Red 3 of Clubs), the game ends and the other team must not only finish the middle pitcher but also take a shot. Should you guess 1/3 or 2/3, your entire team drinks 3x. If you miss on all 3 (i.e. color wrong, suit wrong, & card value wrong), your team must decide between losing the game & finishing the middle pitcher or each taking a shot and then adding to the middle.

The final rule is called Foolish Mistakes, where if someone is drunk enough to guess the "Red 11 of spades" or "Green jack" they're disqualified and should probably go to bed.
