Summary

The Chicken Chase drinking game is an original game shared on Reddit that a group of friends from San Francisco thought up and have fine-tuned over time. It involves racing against the clock to find the chicken in an unknown bar before he drinks away all your money. Intrigued? So am I.

Setup

Before the Chicken Chase begins, everyone meets up and brings $10 with them to give to the chicken that will serve as their personal bar tab. Then, the chicken finds a random undisclosed bar to drink at that he cannot leave until the game ends. Everyone opens a drink, takes 10 to 20 minutes, and then splits up to find the chicken.

Rules

When the Chicken Chase begins, people usually split up into teams of 2-3 and begin searching bars within the allotted area for their friend. It's in your best interest to be quick, as he's drinking away your money little by little with each minute you spend checking the wrong bars. For each incorrect bar you enter, your team has to drink before moving on.

Once the chicken man is located, what's left of his money is split between the team that found him, and they drink away what's left of the money with the chicken. Afterwards, everyone reconvenes at the original location to share stories about their adventure.
