Categories Drinking Game

Summary

The Categories drinking game is exactly like one of the rules from Kings where players verbally call out items from a category of choice, without repeating each other at a fast pace.

Setup

The setup is minimal, players sit in circular fashion, and an initial category caller is appointed, who essentially begins the game by verbally calling out what the first category will be.

Rules

Once the caller has said the first category, the game has begun and the player to their left begins their turn by calling out something that fits into that category. The game continues in circular fashion until a player can't call something that hasn't been said or accidentally repeats something.

When a round ends with a screw up, the person that caused the round to end drinks their beer or liquor and becomes category caller for the next round. Simple, right?

Here's an example game, with the category BEERS:

• turn 1) Budweiser
• turn 2) Natural Light
• turn 3) Corona
• turn 4) Coors
• turn 5) Budweiser --> this player loses, as Budweiser has been said already
