Summary

Blackout is a competitive social card game where the goal is to blackout your oppenents by get them overserved on 3 types of alcohol (Beer, wine and liquor)

• Blackout card game
• 2-5 friends (or enemies)

Setup

1. Find a table or counter that all participants can gather around
2. Shuffle all drink and action cards together into one deck, and deal out 5 cards to each player
3. Return deck face-down to the middle

Optional: get a cold beverage of your choice ready to go.

Rules

Youngest player goes first

1. On your turn, you can play up to 2 cards, any combination of action or drink cards from your hand.
   
2. As you give out drink cards, place the card face up in front of the player you're giving them to.
3. Various action cards can be played during a turn, such as skip a player, take a card from another player, retrieve a card from the discard pile, cancel an action or drink, etc.
4. If an action card is played that affects another player for their turn, such as skipping their next turn, place the card in front of that player, and discard once their skipped turn is over.
5. At any time, a player can play a "Nope" instant action card to cancel another player's action or drink card that was given to them. If you "Nope" a drink card that someone gives you, you can give that drink card to the player of your choice. If a player plays a "Nope" card on top of another "Nope" card, these actions cancel each other out.
   
6. There are 5 different drink cards that can be given out. Beer, wine, and liquor all count as 1 drink. Jungle juice counts as 2 drinks, and can be used as a "wild" card for any drink category. The last option is a Tequila card, which immediately blacks out the player of your choice on their liquor category.
7. At the end of your turn, draw 2 new cards from the deck. Play continues to the player to the left.
8. Once a player has received 4 drinks of any category, they become "blacked out" on that drink. Flip over the top card of their pile to indicate this pile is complete
9. Game continues until every player but 1 is blacked out on all drink categories.
   

Optional: Everytime you get a new drink card you must take a drink of your side beverage.

How To Win

The goal of Blackout, is to be the last player not blacked out on beer, wine, and liquor categories.
