Summary

Art of war is a drinking game that is a hybrid of beer pong and civil war where teams can strategically place their cups, making them harder to shoot.

Equipment

• 1 Long Beer Pong Table
• 25 Solo Cups
• 2 Pong Balls
• Alcohol

Setup

1. Split long table evenly into two sides
2. Each team gets 12 cups that they can place however they want on their side of the table. Be strategic!
3. Put the extra cup on the middle line on a raised surface (could be a double stacked cup) - fill 3/4 with beer or just a single shot (dragon)

Rules

How to win: clear all the cups from the other team by sinking a ball into all their cups.

1. A member from each team goes up to shoot at the same time or one after the other if preferred. The objective is to throw the ping pong ball into any of the other team's cups. If the person shooting gets it in, any member from the other team will have to drink the entire content of that cup right away. If the person shooting misses, they have to drink half a cup from their own side.
2. Next person from each team goes up to shoot. Same rules apply for when they miss their shot or when they get one in. Players from each team will continue rotating turns and shooting until all the cups from the other team are cleared.
3. Once a team clears all the cups from the opposing team, then that team wins and the losing team will have to drink the remaining cups from the winning team plus a penalty - could be a shot or whatever is agreed upon initially.

TWIST: AMBUSH

At any time during the game when a player from each team goes up to shoot, they have the option of AMBUSHING the other team by RELEASING THE DRAGON which involves shooting the ball into the middle cup. If a player sinks this cup - the other team will get ambushed. This means the team who RELEASED THE DRAGON will give two of their own cups to the other team plus the dragon's cup. As soon as the dragon is released, both teams have to start chugging all the remaining cups on their side and flip them. The team with the dragon have the disadvantage of the 3 additional cups but they can still win if they chug and flip all their cups before the other team. The team who is last to chug and flip all their cups loses and will have to take the penalty!
