Summary

Alabama is a fun card drinking game of chance that involves guessing the next card and involves penalties for incorrect guesses

Setup

Choose a dealer, and set all players up around the table with playing cards ready.

Rules

The game starts with four cards face up on the table

The player to the left of the dealer starts

They choose one of the cards and predict whether the next card will be over or under it

For example, a player selects a king and predicts the next card will be lower than a king (Aces are high)

You must get three predictions correct in a row to pass the turn off to the next person

If you get a card wrong (pick a Jack and predict lower and the next card is queen for example) you drink until the group counts to the number of cards in the pile (so if it's the first prediction of the game the group counts to two)

The person left of the person who predicted incorrectly starts the counting and the counting goes around the circle until the number is reached

After a miss the number of correct predicts is reset to 0 and the person who guessed incorrectly has to guess three in a row to advance past their turn

When the deck runs out you take the leftmost pile and shuffle, this is the new deck, repeat the steps until the deck is gone again, repeat this process until there is only one face up pile

The game should end with the group counting to 52 as one person drinks (unless the last guess is correct)
