Gameplay review of Ted Slot

Blueprint Gaming developed Ted basing the popular slot game on the movie, Ted, from 2012. Blueprint Gaming is based in the UK, Germany and now Gibraltar; the company was founded in 2001. The company is a subsidiary of Gauselmann AG.

In the movie Ted's owner, John, wishes at the age of eight that Ted could come to life and remarkably he does, however, not without consequence. Twenty-seven years on both John and Ted are living happily ever after together until John falls in love and wants to propose to his girlfriend and, of course, Ted gets in the way.

The online slot game which you can play at Diamond Jackpots follows a similar theme, John, his girlfriend Lori, bottles of beer and a drunken live teddy bear making inappropriate comments and lying on the sofa surrounded by beer bottles are regular images.

The game is a five reel, twenty pay lines with bets from 0.01 to 200 credits per turn. Ted has a Return to Player percentage of 95.80%, which does make the game slightly average, and of low volatility but this makes it easier for players to win several smaller prizes than usual. The game offers many additional features such as an auto spin, which once activated just keeps the reels spinning with the wager being repeatedly played.

Symbols within the game include card symbols, Jack, Queen, King and Ace, items and characters taken from the movie, a coke bottle, a goose and stacked Ted logos. Ted is the Wild symbol and overrides every other symbol except for the bonus symbol, but this does open up more opportunities to win. Ted was primarily developed and launched for fans of the movie so playing it without knowledge of the movie will not be as much fun and any jokes or references to the movie will, alas, be lost on the player who hasn't watched it.
