Setup

Sit around a table and place the empty solo cup in the middle of the table. Everyone starts off with one drink (of their choice) in front of them. Last, designate someone to be the dealer for this round (after the first round you might want to let whoever drank the most in the prior round deal).

Rules

52-Black Out is a speed-based drinking game. It starts with the dealer dealing a card to the player to his right, and he then continues to deal cards at a fast pace around the circle, non-stop. Every card has a rule associated with it that players must follow if dealt that card:

  • 2-10: For any card 2 through 10, drink half the amount shown
  • Jack: Take a shot
  • Queen: Everyone drink 1 for the previously drawn card
  • King: Kings cup (The first three Kings= Pour into cup. Last king = Drink the cup) You may choose what drink goes into the cup and how much of it. Remember thou, you might be drinking that cup.
  • Ace: Shotgun a beer
  • Joker: Choose a player that will be dealt 2 cards on their next turn (instead of 1)

This drinking game emphasizes speed. Once your card is dealt, the next player to the right gets his card right away. So once you are given the card, you have until the turn gets back to you to complete your action, failure to do so results in you:

  1. Taking a shot
  2. Completing your failed task
  3. Completing the new task
  4. *Falling behind is a vicious cycle*

Once all the cards are dealt out, you must then make the best 5-card poker hand with the current cards you have. The player with the best hand has the power to make the others either shotgun a beer or take a shot. After a game ends you shuffle the deck and appoint a new dealer.

As always, please remember to drink responsibly! This alcohol drinking game is not meant to lead to you becoming sick due to over-consumption of alcohol. Need a sober ride?
