Equipment

  • 5 Quarters
  • Alcohol

Setup

Everyone fill your cup with beer before beginning a round, & fill the death cup with some less-than-desirable alcohol. Last, pick someone to be the first coin shaker.

Rules

Everyone takes turns shaking the 5 coins that will ultimately determine their fate. Here are the rules for a standard turn:

  1. The player who's taking a turn shakes all 5 coins in a cup or in their hand. If you use your hand, stack them on the table without looking at the order.
  2. Call out heads or tails - you will drink 1 for each coin that is facing up with the opposite of what you called (i.e. if you called heads, drink 1 for every face-up tails).
  3. You may now choose to either 1) drink that number, or 2) go double or nothing where you flip a single coin and call it in the air.
  4. If every coin shows the same value face-up and it's opposite of what you called, you have to finish the death cup. Conversely, if all 5 show the same face-up value and you called it correctly, you can assign someone to drink the death cup.

As always, please remember to drink responsibly! This alcohol drinking game is not meant to lead to you becoming sick due to over-consumption of alcohol. Need a sober ride?
